ABOUT THE COURSE

Business Analytics, Develop the Data Mindset and Analytical Skills to Make Informed Decisions Business Analytics will help demystify data and equip you with concrete skills you can apply in your everyday decision-making. Beginning with basic descriptive statistics and progressing to regression analysis, you’ll learn business analytics through real-world examples.

Module 1:       Interpret data to inform business decisions

Module 2:       Recognize trends, detect outliers, and summarize data sets

Module 3.       Analyze relationships between variables

Module 4:       Develop and test hypotheses

Module 5:       Craft sound survey questions and draw conclusions from population samples

Module 6: Implement regression analysis and other analytical techniques in Excel

  • Business Analytics consists of approximately 40 hours of material delivered over eight weeks. You can complete the coursework on your own time while meeting regular deadlines.

    For those interested in learning business fundamentals more broadly, the three-course Credential of Readiness (CORe) program—consisting of Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting.

  • By enrolling in the Business Analytics certificate program, participants will be ineligible to enrol in the CORe program. By enrolling in the CORe program, participants will be ineligible to enrol in Business Analytics as an individual certificate program

Upon completing your career training, the Institute gives you access to a whole range of career services. The services are designed to help you find employment or even start your own business.

Level 2: Module 4 to 6

After completed Module 1 to 6, you can join top up one year for MSI diploma the second year in MSU and after that top up to MSU Degree.
